On December 10th and 11th, Libreville, the capital of Gabon will welcome 400 professionals from the agricultural sector of 30 countries in Africa and elsewhere as part of the 5th edition of Africa Agri-Forum around the theme “Agricultural transformation, the African challenge”.
According to Gabonese authorities, this forum will be an opportunity to exhibit the country's agricultural potential and interest for any lessor to be interested in this promising sector.
For Hassan M. Alaoui, President of I-Conferences, Gabon has an ambitious agricultural vision that his institution wants to accompany and share with French-speaking Africa countries.
The main panels of this meeting of two days will focus on: the challenges of African agriculture transformation, investment challenges, public-private partnerships (PPPs) in the financing of the sector.
The distinguished speakers expected are among others ,Biendi Maganga Moussavou Gabonese Minister of Agriculture; Helder Muteia (FAO Gabon); Moussa Seck (Former President, Panafrican Consortium for Agribusiness and Agroindustry), Chiji Ojukwu (AfDB, Ivory Coast) etc.
The Africa Agri-forum 2018 is organized by I-conferences in partnership with OCP Africa and sponsored by the Gabonese Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock.
The ambition of the organizers is to promote South-South partnership and promote investment and development of strategic sectors in North, Central and West Africa.
