"Africa must unite. We need to work together for food security. That is the only way for we Africans to be respected in the world", he said.
Agriculture in south Sudan
In south Sudan, most of the lands are unexploited. We want to use our land in order to produce enough food for our population.
For it, we need investors to come in our country to invest in agriculture. We need mechanization.
Can Africa be developed thank to Agriculture?
Absolutely, that is why Agriculture must have an important part in the annual budget. We must invest in agriculture therefore, be able to use fertilizers, conduct research on our soils in order to determine the types of seeds adapted.
The involvement of youth for food safety
Youth, it is the backbone of the success. They have power, they have the knowledge of the 21st century. We have to support them in terms of projects, education, opportunities and protection.
Leaders must make more secure Africa, without fear, without intimidation, without fear of insecurity. So young people can focus on agriculture.
So I am convinced that if we invest in youth to train them in agriculture, we can leave the stage of simple farmers to become great traders in agriculture.
And I think it is in this way that we can put an end to famine, and get out of poverty. We must be able to eat what we grow. It is very important and we cannot get there without food security.
Unity of action
Africa must unite. We need to work together for food security. That is the only way for we Africans to be respected in the world.
Youth must unite. Help each other in different domains. They must use their energy to invest in Agriculture. They must work hard. It is a matter of commitment and hard working. Love their country and who they are.
Gouvernements also must work together. We have raw materials. They must finance Agriculture trough annual budgets.
What about investors ?
For Africa to have food sufficiency and be food basket for Africa and the whole world, donators like United Nations and African Union must invest in Agriculture in the continent. The private sector also must get involved.
